# Authentication & Profile

> Secure your account and set up real-time market alerts.

Your Kalpi profile is the central hub for managing your account security and notification preferences.

## Login Methods

Kalpi supports secure, passwordless authentication to get you into your dashboard faster:

* **Google OAuth:** Log in instantly using your existing Google workspace or personal account.
* **Email Magic Link:** Enter your email address to receive a secure, one-time login link. No passwords to remember (or forget).

## Setting Up WhatsApp Alerts

Because Kalpi is a live quantitative engine, timeliness is everything. We strongly recommend configuring **WhatsApp Notifications** so you never miss a critical market shift, momentum breakout, or portfolio drift check.

### How to Enable Notifications:

    Click on your avatar in the bottom left corner of the dashboard and select **Profile**.

    Scroll to the **Contact Details** section and input your active mobile number.

  <Step title="Verify via OTP" icon="calculator" iconType="solid">
    Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your device to securely verify ownership.

  <Step title="Toggle WhatsApp Alerts" icon="whatsapp" iconType="brands">
    Once verified, switch the **WhatsApp Notifications** toggle to the 'On' position.
